FAQs

When did Bethel Church begin?
Bethel Christian Reformed Church was established on June 9th, 1958.  Our first church was built on 186th Street in Lansing and was dedicated on May 2, 1961. We have been at our current location (3500 Glenwood-Lansing Road) since January 1992.

What makes you different from the other churches in the area?
Traditional, but relevant - Bethel Church is all about building relationships - with God, friends, and family. It's a safe place to be yourself; real people with real needs who know a real God.

Are children welcome? Do you have any special programs for them?
Absolutely! We are a family-friendly church, and children have a special place at Bethel. We provide a wide array of age-appropriate activities in a safe and caring environment where children can learn of Jesus' love for them. Click here to find out more about our Kids Ministry.

I haven't read the Bible or been to church lately. Is there a place for me at Bethel?
Certainly! Our relaxed atmosphere says "come as you are," and participate in our worship services and fellowships. Whether you are unfamiliar with Scripture or have been a lifelong student, you will find others just like you at our church.

I'm just beginning to investigate Christianity. How can Bethel help?
Come check us out! We have a casual, "no pressure" appeal that permits you to observe ordinary people whose primary goal is to live out Christ's teachings daily. Our worship services center on getting to know Jesus in a personal way because we believe you can, and we love to show others how.

How can I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ?
Please click here to return to our home page. When you get there, click on the "got life?" icon on the left side of the page under the photograph, for a multimedia presentation on how you can know Him.
